So if you have a Yorkie and start to see it eating a tremendous amount of food and drinking water non-stop you might want to check into whether it might be Yorkie Cushings Disease…

•    They love children and will enjoy playing with the kids, but will generally gravitate to the “head” Mom or Dad of the family.
4.    Yorkshire Terriers Generally Do Not Like Being Around Other Dogs!
•    If you want more than one dog, best bet is to allow your Yorkshire Puppies to grow up with the other dog. 
5.    Yorkshire Terriers Generally Do Not Like Being Around Cats!

6.    Yorkshire Puppies Need Their Exercise! 
•    Even though they are small, they need at least 10-15 minutes per day of walking or playing.
7.    Yorkshire Terriers Need To Be Groomed Frequently!
•    The good news is there is minimal shedding with Yorkshire Puppiess.  The bad news is they need to be constantly brushed and groomed to prevent their hair from matting.
8.    Yorkshire Puppies Can Be A Bit “Bold” And “Fearless”
•    This is a good quality, but can’t also get them into a bit of trouble!
9.    Yorkshire Puppies Are Intelligent and Strong-Willed
•    Their intelligence makes them easy to train since and they generally learn quickly!
•    The fact they are strong-willed makes it a bit challenging at times getting them to do the things they don’t feel like doing!
10.     Yorkshire Puppies Are A Bit Fragile
•    Be careful with letting them run wild in the outdoors since they their small size makes them more prone to injury.
